Vishal Phalgoo is a Partner in the Firm’s Corporate Department. Vishal has extensive corporate and transactional experience representing private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies, other companies and individuals in connection with a variety of transactions, including acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, divestitures, joint ventures and minority investments.  Vishal also regularly advises clients on a variety of corporate governance, strategic and “day-to-day” matters.  

Vishal earned his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2011, where he served as Senior Production Editor of the Virginia Law & Business Review.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics, summa cum laude, from Siena College in 2008, where he received the Mathematics Award for earning the highest GPA in his graduating class.  Vishal is admitted to practice in the State of New York.  Prior to joining the Firm, Vishal worked at several Manhattan-based international law firms, most recently as a Partner of a Mergers & Acquisitions/Private Equity group.
