John P. Bues is a Partner in the Firm’s Real Estate Department.  John has extensive experience in commercial real estate, banking, finance and leasing. 

 

John has represented institutional and private lenders, sellers, purchasers and builders in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, development and finance throughout the New York metropolitan area. John’s experience in representing clients in various aspects of commercial real estate transactions allows him to provide clients with insightful guidance and perspective from early negotiations through to closing.  John also represents commercial landlords and tenants in office and retail leasing transactions. 

 

Prior to joining the firm, John supplemented his commercial transaction practice with representing lenders, mortgage loan servicers, builders, condominium boards and homeowner associations in litigating foreclosure and collection actions.

 

John is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey and the Federal District Courts for the Eastern and the Southern Districts of New York.

 

While attending law school at Western New England College School of Law, John was selected as a member of the National Environmental Law Moot Court Team and earned honors for his oral argument skills during competition.  John earned his undergraduate degree from Elmira College.

 

John is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Cleary School for the Deaf.
