Asna E. Shah is an Associate in the Firm’s Corporate Department. Asna has extensive corporate and transactional experience representing public and private companies, private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies, other companies, and individuals in connection with a variety of transactions, including acquisitions, equity and debt security offerings, divestitures, joint ventures, restructurings, and minority investments spanning a wide range of industries and sectors. Asna also regularly advises clients on a variety of general corporate governance and strategic matters. 

Asna earned her law degree from New York University of Law in 2017, where she served as Executive Editor of the Review of Law & Social Change.  Asna also earned her Masters of Science degree in Bioethics from Columbia University in 2014, where she served as Executive Editor of the Voice in Bioethics Journal.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, magna cum laude, from Queens College in 2012. Asna is admitted to practice in the State of New York.  Prior to joining the Firm, Asna worked at two Manhattan-based international law firms in their Mergers & Acquisitions/Private Equity groups.
