Annie Kubic is a Partner in the Firm’s Litigation Department, representing financial institutions, corporations, fiduciaries and individuals in a variety of state and federal courts actions.  Annie’s practice focuses on complex commercial cases, including contract, fraud and fraudulent conveyances, creditor priority disputes, foreclosures, and judgment enforcement proceedings.  Annie also has experience in bankruptcy litigations, having represented debtors-in-possession, unsecured creditors’ committees and their post-confirmation successors in a variety of adversary proceedings.   Annie has significant experience in arbitration, mediation, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.  Prior to joining the Firm, Annie was associated with a Manhattan law firm, where she represented clients in a broad array of commercial and bankruptcy litigations. 

 

Annie was recognized as a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” for her business litigation and creditors’ rights work in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2021.

 

Annie graduated cum laude from St. John’s University School of Law in 2008, where she was a St. Thomas More Scholar and a member of the Moot Court Honor Society.  Annie received her undergraduate degree from Loyola University in Maryland.  

 

Annie is admitted to practice in New York State, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
